South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) Within Peacebuilding Contexts and the UN peacebuilding Architecture
IDPS held a session on opportunities for using The International Dialogue for multistakeholder engagement for SSTC in peacebuilding at a workshop co-hosted by The Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA), UN Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO), with support from the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation (DHF).
The session focused on how platforms like the International Dialogue can promote learning, knowledge sharing and action towards South-South Triangular Cooperation for peacebuilding and prevention through:
- Increasing experience sharing across geographies and sectors
- Creating more opportunities for open multistakeholder dialogue
- Embracing solidarity as a common value for engagement
